Japan has been my home since the Spring of 1978.  I have been either on active duty with the U. S. Navy or working on base as a civilian employee for a government agency.  All of the layouts that I have built are small and portable because of the fact that space is at a premium in my apartment, and the first three were all representations of rural Japan in the Showa era, or 1950's and 60's.  Little Ono, my fourth layout, is from a more modern era.  And, my latest layout, Don's Dream World (DDW) (USA), is based on a rural Midwestern farming community in the 1950's and 60's.

There is also a gallery of plastic models that I have built, and I might possibly more photos of the Japanese model railroad magazine articles from 2012, 2014 and 2016.  On that note, all of the photos marked as "Copyrighted" are the property of Seibido Shuppan and may not be copied.  All other photos may be copied with my permission.

Don's Dream World (USA) and the plastic models are for sale, although some of the plastic models are no longer available.  If you are interested, please push the "Contact Me" button and send me an email.
